Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department has completed its establishment in 1992/1993 academic year and started its activities in 1993/1994 academic year. The department has 6 research laboratories. Bachelor's, master's and doctoral education is provided.
The department carries out education and training activities in the Faculty of Engineering Building, which was held in 2003. In this building, an area of approximately 1850 m2 is used effectively (amp, classroom, laboratory, workshop, teaching staff and management rooms, seminar room, etc.).
In department; in addition to basic engineering concepts, design and analysis of electrical and electronic circuits and systems, communication systems, electrical facilities, electrical machines and automation systems are taught.
The department has been providing education in Turkish since its establishment. The compulsory English Preparatory Program, which has been established since the 2004/2005 academic year, is offered on a voluntary basis from the 2009/2010 academic year.
Wired and wireless internet connection is available in the department. Technical visits are organized to technical and industrial institutions determined by the department management. In addition, students are encouraged to organize various activities within the different student communities established by our students.
Graduates work in consultancy firms in the fields of electricity, electronics and energy and work in all fields that require R & D activities, municipalities, Atomic Energy Authority, TEDAŞ, TEİAŞ and other electricity companies in electricity, electronics and communication sector, national and multinational companies, radio and TV broadcasting organizations, internet services organizations and research and development in health sector, production and marketing units, universities or research centers.
